The scholarship supports ASOR members or students at ASOR-member schools to participate as volunteers or staff on the Hesi Regional Project archaeological excavation in summer 2027. It funds allowable direct fieldwork expenses up to $2,000. Scholarships cannot be deferred and are contingent on the excavation proceeding as planned.
Applicants must be ASOR members or students at ASOR-member schools. Underrepresented groups may request membership waivers. Participation in an ASOR-affiliated excavation is required.
