Senior undergraduate scholarships honor individuals' contributions to sciences and support students pursuing degrees in atmospheric, oceanic, or hydrologic sciences. Awards range from $2,000 to $10,000 based on academic excellence. Winners receive partial support to attend the AMS Annual Meeting, including complimentary registration and hotel accommodations.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents entering their final undergraduate year in fall 2027 at an accredited U.S. institution. They must pursue a degree in atmospheric or related sciences and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
