Awardees receive mentorship and training while leading a research project in these fields. The program excludes MD/PhD students and requires fourth-year students to defer graduation.
Open to medical students enrolled in accredited U.S. medical schools, excluding MD/PhD candidates. Second- and third-year students are encouraged; fourth-year students need graduation deferment. Non-U.S. citizens must have appropriate visas.
