The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), the System Agency, is accepting Applications for the Family-Based Alternatives (FBA) to institutionalized children with disabilities. The purpose of this program is to help children with disabilities who live in Institutions transition into FBA settings, such as foster care, adoptive homes, or permanent family homes, instead of remaining institutional care.
