This grant funds physical and programmatic improvements to outdoor public spaces in Benton and Washington Counties, Northwest Arkansas, aiming to create welcoming third places that build a sense of belonging. Four nonprofits or local government agencies will receive $100,000 each, plus technical assistance and peer learning opportunities, as part of a three-year partnership to enhance community spaces.
Eligible applicants are U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits or local government agencies with authority to improve outdoor public spaces in Benton or Washington Counties, Northwest Arkansas. The site must be free, open to the public, and a regional destination.
