The Lion Dental Research Award recognizes outstanding research in basic dental science and applied oral care product development. It supports junior investigators with accepted abstracts in Behavioral, Epidemiologic and Health Services Research, Cariology Research, or Microbiology/Immunology Research. Awardees receive monetary prizes and must present their work at the IADR General Session & Exhibition without substitutions.
Applicants must be junior researchers pursuing postgraduate degrees with a dentistry or scientific degree, members of IADR in good standing, and have an accepted abstract in specified IADR scientific groups. Nominations by supervisors or program directors are allowed.
