The San Francisco Section Award honors individuals or teams for distinguished contributions in electrochemical science and technology and/or solid state science and technology. It includes a $2,000 prize, an engraved plaque, and an invitation to deliver a general address on a major topic in the field. Eligible candidates are active ECS members residing in California or southwest states, from academia, industry, or government.
