This grant supports departmental faculty research in chemistry and related fields at small and medium-sized Texas educational institutions. Funding covers student scholarships, laboratory equipment, chemicals, and travel to industry meetings and conferences, fostering student interest and experience in chemistry careers.
Eligible applicants are colleges and universities in Texas offering undergraduate degrees in chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering, and authorized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Proposals are by invitation only.
