The Visitor Training Program funds hematologists and related health care professionals from low- and middle-income countries to receive up to 12 weeks of specialized training under the supervision of an ASH member. Training focuses on specific hematology needs in clinical or laboratory settings, enabling participants to return and apply new skills at their home institutions. The program covers travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses.
Applicants must be hematology professionals permanently employed in low- or middle-income countries with a host mentor who is an ASH member. Medical students, residents, fellows, or trainees are ineligible. Research projects are not supported.
