The HIP Resident Award supports residents in internal medicine, pathology, or pediatrics with 12 months remaining in their accredited U.S., Canadian, or Mexican programs. It provides a $5,000 honorarium for blood science research under ASH member mentorship and up to $2,000 for travel to present research at the ASH annual meeting. Recipients also gain career development mentorship and complimentary ASH membership.
Applicants must be residents in internal medicine, pathology, or pediatrics in accredited U.S. or Canadian programs with 12 months remaining. A research mentor who is an ASH member is required.
