The Richard S. Materson ERF New Investigator Research Grants offer $10,000 in seed funding for short-term research projects in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Eligible applicants include residents and physiatrists within five years of training completion who are members of AAPM&R or AAP. Applications must include a research purpose statement, anticipated outcomes, budget, institutional support letter, and CV. Awards are presented at the AAPM&R Annual Assembly.
