This fellowship supports a one-year postdoctoral research stay in Japan for young Slovak Academy of Sciences researchers across natural, technical, and social sciences. It covers airfare, monthly allowance, incidental expenses, and insurance. Applicants must have a Japanese host invitation and begin their stay between April and November 2027. Applications require nomination through the Slovak Academy's International Cooperation Department and submission of specific documents in English or Japanese.
Eligible applicants are young researchers from the Slovak Academy of Sciences who completed their PhD no more than six years ago, with maternity and parental leave deducted. Candidates must be nominated through the Academy's International Cooperation Department.
