Sponsored Memberships reduce barriers to participation in ornithology by providing full membership benefits to eligible individuals. Recipients are encouraged to actively participate in virtual and in-person events, conferences, and committees. Memberships are awarded annually for the following calendar year.
Eligible applicants include individuals from under-represented groups in ornithology, those from Latin America, or those unable to afford membership dues.
