This scholarship program supports high-school seniors and undergraduates pursuing Latin teaching certification, especially those from underrepresented populations. Applicants submit a statement of purpose, transcript highlighting Classics coursework, and a letter of support from a CAMWS member mentor. Up to two $500 scholarships are awarded annually to aid Latin teacher training.
Open to high-school seniors committed to majoring in Classics and earning certification, and college students up to juniors pursuing teaching certification. Mentor must be a current CAMWS member.
