This bursary funds short-term research visits abroad for English Studies scholars to identify relevant holdings, gather corpus materials, or conduct experiments. It excludes conference participation. Two types are offered: Type A for PhD researchers and Type B for scholars with doctorates or equivalents. Applicants must be members of national associations affiliated with ESSE as of November 2026.
