The 2027 ESSE Doctoral Symposium invites PhD students in English Studies to present work-in-progress research in English Language and Linguistics, Literatures in English, or Cultural and Area Studies. The event will be held in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 25-26 August 2027. Financial support is available for eligible travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses for members of ESSE-affiliated national associations.
Eligible applicants are PhD students in English Studies in at least their second year of doctoral research. Applicants or their supervisors must be members of ESSE-affiliated national associations. Financial support applicants must be individual members.
