This grant funds events, programs, and projects designed for teachers introducing elementary and middle-school students to Latin and the ancient Mediterranean world. The 2026–2027 funding theme supports project-based learning materials that engage students and provide lasting educational benefits beyond the grant year. Applicants must explain how their project supports learning and benefits students beyond the grant period.
Eligible applicants are teachers who primarily teach Latin or Classics, or other teachers incorporating these subjects into their instruction. Beneficiaries must be elementary or middle school students. One grant per individual per academic year.
